In April 2023, the new boutique hotel "NILS am See" opened its doors directly on the shore of the idyllic Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. As lead agency, we supported the team with a holistic strategy, digital channel and influencer management as well as the conception and production of various online and print ads.
How do you establish a brand new premium brand in times of high inflation and uncertainty? How do you produce high-quality photo and video content while the hotel is still under construction? And how do you develop a well thought-out, holistic brand identity just one month before the opening as the basis for a successful market launch? Our answer to these challenges: A lot of commitment, creativity, and a flexible approach that still keeps an eye on all the high-quality details.
When time is of the essence, a clear plan and a shared understanding of the goals are even more important! That's why we first defined the strategic guiding principles and all relevant requirements for the project in a joint workshop. The result of these considerations was not only a comprehensive (digital) marketing strategy, but also a flexible plan for how we could implement this strategy within a tight schedule. Shortly after the start of the awareness phase, we placed an even stronger focus on bookings, reservations and inquiries with the integration of a booking platform and various search and performance campaigns. With attractive offers, newly created product packages and events, we were able to massively increase the number of bookings in a short time and also convince B2B decision-makers on LinkedIn of the location for the next company event or seminar.
The first step: A successful soft opening phase to establish the new boutique hotel. For this purpose, an elegant, modern image style and the appropriate tonality for the target groups in the B2C and also B2B segment were developed. In close cooperation with the photographer and videographer Alexander Lang as well as the PR agency Ketchum, a high-quality pool of content was created for implementations on social media, but also for menus, folders or job ads. At the same time, content creators delivered real added value to the growing community with authentic and inspiring insights. Within a very short time, we were not only able to establish an attractive brand, but also the results speak for themselves: A fully booked house, well-attended events and an excellently filled conversion funnel exceed the goals set.
