Digital branding with a strong storytelling approach

About the Case

When we create a website, it's rarely "just" a website. That's why we worked with Rainer Schönfelder in a series of workshops to shape his brand story and pour it into suitable storytelling formats. The result: a website that is colorful and a bit different, with video content in focus and offering Rainer the perfect stage to tell his story. Close, raw and from a new perspective.


Rainer Schönfelder approached us with the wish to design and develop a website for him - with the aim of presenting his controversial personality, telling his story from a new perspective and successfully positioning him as a person and brand. It quickly became clear that this was not going to be a run-of-the-mill reputation website listing his CV and professional achievements. The focus should be on his personality and his authentic story. With everything that goes with it – including the downsides.


In several intensive workshops, we defined the strategy and positioning of the Rainer Schönfelder brand. Based on this, we started to work on the the brand story, which served as the basis for all further realizations: a video approach with the claim to show Rainer as authentically as possible. To this end, four core themes were developed, which were integrated into four chapters on the new website in a user-friendly way.

From strategy to video conception and production to UX & UI design and development – a project worth seeing.
